PEI Awards for Operational Excellence 2012
We have extended the deadline for entries for Private Equity International's first Awards for Operational Excellence until Friday.
In these difficult economic times, it’s never been more important for private equity firms to demonstrate they can add genuine value to the companies that they own and operate – not just through financial engineering, but through operational improvements.
To recognise and highlight the achievements of the industry’s best-in-class operators, this year Private Equity International has launched our inaugural Awards for Operational Excellence. Nominations are invited from our three core markets – North America, EMEA and Asia – and a panel of independent judges will select the winners from a shortlist in each region, across six sector categories:
- Retail / Consumer
- TMT
- Healthcare
- Energy
- Manufacturing / Industrial
- Business & Financial Services
We invite you to submit examples from your own (partially or fully realised) portfolio.

The awards launched on Friday 6th July, and there are just five days remaining to submit entries, with a closing date of Friday 10th August 2012.
Criteria:
- Investment must have been at least partially realised on or after 1 January 2011
- Portfolio company must be headquartered or largely based in one of the three core regions: North America, EMEA, or Asia (including Australasia).
