Aashish Kalra is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Trikona Capital, the leading fund platform for investment in the Indian infrastructure and real estate sectors.
Trikona's diversified portfolio of investments spans the residential, commercial, infrastructure, urban rejuvenation, hospitality, healthcare and the industrial sectors. Mr Kalra is also the Manager of Trikona Trinity Capital, a £250 million fund listed in 2006 on the London Stock Exchange and now fully invested in real estate and infrastructure in India.
Previously Mr Kalra was involved in various IT and Venture Capital companies. He was Managing Director and Co-founder of Spydre Technologies, a venture incubator. At Spydre he built a portfolio of more than a dozen companies. Mr Kalra was a partner at the venture capital firm, Cambridge Technology Enterprises, Boston (CTE). He was also a co-founder of a venture fund, Cambridge Samsung Partners, Boston with Samsung of Korea.
Mr Kalra is frequently quoted in international media outlets. He is a frequent speaker and has participated in industry events in New York, Europe, India, China and the Middle East.
Mr Kalra has a Masters degree in international finance from Brandeis University, Waltham, US and a BA (Hons) in economics from St Stephens College, Delhi.
