
Thor Johnsen, Principal, Arcapita

Thor is a Principal with Arcapita Limited, focusing on utility, power, renewables and transportation infrastructure assets. Arcapita asset investment experience includes Viridian plc (£2.2 BN electric utility in Northern Ireland), South Staffordshire (now exited - water utility in the U.K.), Zephyr (exited – renewables portfolio). Previously, Thor was a Principal with Bank of America Securities New York and London, where he focused on M&A and corporate finance for the energy, power, utility and energy technology sectors. Prior to Bank of America, he was with the Global Energy team at Credit Suisse First Boston focusing on utility and power M&A. Thor holds a Juris Doctorate and MBA from Georgetown University, and passed the California Bar exam. Thor also graduated with Honors in Economics (BA) from Northwestern University.
