Paul Rittersma is a senior portfolio manager infrastructure at PGGM with a focus on fund- and co-investments in the global infrastructure market. Before joining PGGM in May 2006, Paul worked as a manager project finance in the international renewables department of Dutch utility Nuon for six years and amongst others succesfully closed over 15 non-recourse windfarm financings throughout Europe. Prior to working for Nuon, Paul started his career in project & export finance in both banking and industry.

PGGM Investments

PGGM Investments is the asset manager of the second largest Dutch pension fund "Stichting Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn" which has has net assets of approximately € 88 billion. The fund's assets are invested to secure the retirement income of active and retired employees in the Dutch healthcare and social work sector at the lowest possible price. The investments are spread globally over equities, fixed-income, portfolio of strategies, real estate (including infrastructure), private equity and commodities.
