Private Equity Real Estate Magazine (PERE) and The Asian Real Estate Association (AREA) were delighted to co-host the first conference dedicated to key topics and issues concerning privately-held real estate vehicles in the region.
Building on the success of our annual PERE events in North America and Europe, the Asian PERE Forum was the first time the industry in Asia had been brought together for a conference dedicated to topics and issues of concern to privately-held real estate vehicles in the region.
By building a world-class roster of speakers and drawing on our award-winning editorial team to produce a programme that engaged with the relevant issues, the Forum established itself as the definitive annual gathering for the private equity real estate industry in Asia.
The Forum was relevant for those private equity real estate professionals both in Asia and beyond who were interested in the development of the asset class in the region, particularly LPs, GPs, fund managers, investment bankers, developers, lawyers, advisors, brokers, gatekeepers and consultants.
Key topics addressed at the PERE Forum: Asia, 2008 included:
Placing private equity real estate Asia in a global context
What appetites do LPs have for this asset class?
What expectations do LPs have?
Analysing the asset class’s performance
