Arne Trondsen has a dual degree in economics and history and an MBA (Nortwestern University). His work experience includes management consulting in McKinsey & Co. (Scandinavia) and the Boston Consulting Group (London), as well as experience from direct and private equity funds investestments.

Argentum Fondsinvesteringer AS (Argentum) is a specialised asset manager focusing exclusively on Nordic private equity funds. Established in 2002, the company is structured as an investment company and is 100% owned by the Norwegian State. Argentum currently has € 500 million under management, and has pr.31.03.2008 a 35 percent annual return on invested capital since inception.
Focusing on the Nordic countries only, Argentum has been able to develop deep insight into the Nordic Private Equity market. We constantly monitor the private equity landscape to identify and evaluate funds. Argentum is a value adding investor with a deep knowledge of the local business environment.
