For 2009, the seminal annual meeting for the private equity industry in the Middle East and North Africa, hosted by Private Equity International, has evolved significantly.
Having established itself as the destination meeting place for the most senior industry practitioners, investors, officials and advisors, the 2009 Forum is inviting this community to help map the contribution private equity can make to the economic evolution of the region and beyond.

The aim of the Forum is to help better delineate the means and methods with which private equity should engage with specific sectors, markets and economies. That is why the theme for the 2009 Forum is Investing in the future of the region.

World class speakers confirmed include:

The programme will include keynote speeches from global thought leaders from outside the private equity industry, alongside panel discussions where senior figures within the asset class will debate with their peers from industry, finance and government.
Specific streams running through the Forum will allow participants to join with other interested parties and engage in more granular discussion.
The meeting will be rigorous and challenging, informal but serious, free-thinking but realistic – the must-attend, or better, must-participate – event of the year.
The Forum will provide a platform for delegates and speakers alike to assess the where, how and why of private equity against the context of a changed economic landscape both within the Middle East and worldwide.
