Steve Drake is the Lead Partner of our Capital Markets Group (CMG) in the Middle East region. CMG provides support to clients with respect to their listing, transaction, complex accounting and corporate governance needs.
Steve’s team is regionally based with a primary focus on the GCC countries. CMG’s client base covers a range of industries including financial services, telecommunications, oil & gas and government.
Prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in the Middle East, Steve was with PwC in London where he serviced a portfolio of PwC’s global banking clients, working in geographies as diverse as the US, Japan, South Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Prior to moving to the Middle East, Steve’s core listing experience was with the UK and US markets. Steve has advised on many US SEC registered debt and equity offerings for both foreign and domestic entities.
In the region Steve advises clients looking to list on local markets, most notably Nasdaq Dubai, DFM, ADX and the Saudi Stock Exchange. Steve is also an advisor to Nasdaq Dubai sitting on their listing and practitioners committees.
Steve is a UK qualified chartered accountant and has a BA Honors degree in economics.
