
Tom Gibian, Chief Executive Officer, Emerging Capital Partners
Mr. Gibian is the CEO of Emerging Capital Partners. Since founding ECP in 2005, Mr. Gibian has overseen the firm’s growth from 15 professionals to 28, expanded its African platform from two offices to six and its assets under management from $400 million to $1.6 billion. Previously, Mr. Gibian had been a managing director at EMP Global. Prior to joining EMP, Mr. Gibian was an executive director for Goldman Sachs (Asia). Mr. Gibian serves as a director of numerous public and private companies and has a particular interest in Quaker education. Mr. Gibian received a BA (honors) from the College of Wooster, Ohio and an MBA from the Wharton School.
