Julia Prescot, Partner, Meridiam Infrastructure Managers

Julia has extensive experience of investing, advising on and funding infrastructure projects around the globe after spending more 20 years in the project finance arena. She has been part of Meridiam Infrastructure since its inception in 2005 and is now the Chief Strategy Officer of Meridiam Infrastructure Managers, a fund with €1.2bn under management and focused exclusively on Public Private Partnership (PPP) investments in Europe and North America through dedicated fund vehicles.
Prior to her involvement with Meridiam, Julia was Head of Eurozone Infrastructure Finance at Halifax Bank of Scotland, Head of Project Advisory at Charterhouse Bank and Head of Project Finance at Hill Samuel Bank. She has been involved in advising Governments on major projects such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link in the UK, the Budapest Metro and M3 motorway in Hungary and the Thessaloniki Metro in Greece as well as advising a series of private sector bidders for project finance and PPP projects in Western and Eastern Europe and South America. She has also been involved in investing in and providing funding for the A28 and A41 motorways in France, the privatization of ENA in Spain, London Underground PPP – ‘Tubelines’, the NATS privatization and a number of other PPP transport and social accommodation programmes across Europe.
