
Sasha van de Water is a Managing Director of Keyhaven Capital Partners, an independent London-based private equity investment firm. Keyhaven considers primary partnerships, secondary investments, and direct investments primarily in Europe, and also includes emerging markets in its mandates. Keyhaven’s global investor base includes insurance companies, corporate and public pension funds, endowments and foundations, and family offices. Since Keyhaven’s inception in 2003, the firm has committed or advised on investments worth in excess of €1 billion.
Sasha has eighteen years experience in the private equity markets. Prior to founding Keyhaven, she was a Managing Director at AXA Investment Managers where she was responsible for setting up and developing the European private equity fund of funds programme. Prior to AXA, she was with an affiliate of BT Alex. Brown, advising institutional and high net worth clients in the area of alternative investments. She previously worked as a consultant for Cambridge Associates, an investment consulting firm, in both their London and Boston offices.
Sasha received a BA cum laude from Wellesley College. She is fluent in Dutch and English, and speaks conversational Italian, Spanish and Arabic.
