Dr Karsten Junius, Head of Capital Markets and Real Estate Research, DekaBank

Karsten is head of capital markets and real estate research. He joined DekaBank as Senior Economist in 2000 and is responsible for the banks capital markets research since 2002 and for the real estate research since 2006. Additionally he is a lecturer for economics at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen since 2006. Prior to joining DekaBank he was working for Metzler Asset Management. Karsten started his career as an economist at the Kiel Institute of World Economics in 1996. He is CFA chartholder since 2005, has a PhD in Economics from Kiel University (1999) and a MA from Wayne State University (1993).
