Investor Relations & Communications Forum 2011
The Investor Relations & Communications Forum returns for its 6th year to an increasingly competitive and complex operating environment demanding the most creative and advanced communications and relationship management strategies. Year after year, this forum brings together the brightest and most seasoned investor relations, marketing and communications professionals within private equity and venture capital firms to share proven strategic and tactical solutions. With new programming elements and more networking opportunities, the 2011 forum is not to be missed.
Compliance and the IR and Communications Role: The changes that will directly impact you. Jim Rutherfurd, Partner, Fund Investor Relations at 3i delivers a sneak peek into the issues that will be covered in this session.
Expect more robust working groupsLast year we introduced the working groups format, an exercise that tasked the participants to identify their biggest challenges surrounding a particular area and brainstorm potential solutions or action items to attack these challenges. This exercise was very well received:
“I LOVED it. I thought it was the best part of the meeting.” Michelle Daubar, Vice President of Communications, General Catalyst Partners
“Loved it. The small group setting is perfect for exchanging ideas and forging connections with peers.” Allison Cole, Vice President, Investor Relations, CCMP Capital
This year we are improving on the format by pre-assigning thought leaders, adding even more topics and allowing for more discussion time. This year the working group sessions will also fall into two tracks: strategic and tactical. The strategic track will cover topics such as negotiating LP terms and pitching stories to the press. The tactical track will cover topics such as LP reporting and the annual meeting. Contact Rachelle Young at rachelle.y@peimedia.com if there are any specific topics that you would like addressed during this exercise.
| Whether you are new to the investor relations and communications role or new to the asset class, this intensive three hour session will provide comprehensive training in two tracks: The Complete Fundraising Cycle and The Nuts & Bolts of Corporate Communication.
